Chateau Réal D’Or is in the village of Gonfaron, Côte de Provence. Nestled at the foot of the Massif des Maures, surrounded by oak forests and majestic centuries-old pine trees, our vineyard is protected from the infamous Mistral winds.
The diversity of the soil contributes to the richness and complexity of our wines. A mixture of shale, red sandstone, quartzite, and limestone-clay gives each grape the nutrients it needs to flourish. The Mediterranean climate – mild and sunny – provides between 2,700 and 3,000 hours of sunshine per year.<br /> The estate occupies 66 hectares, of which 30 are vines in one piece. The domain is conducted in reasoned agriculture.
Surrounded by the Aille River and Réal Creek, the vineyard is protected from possible water stresses. The large thermal amplitudes are an additional guarantee of quality. The yields oscillate around 35hl / ha.
